There are so many websites doing product reviews these days, that I am trying hard to focus my reviews of products invented, designed, and produced by regular moms and dads.
The Wow Baby bibs and burp cloths definitely meet that standard: designed by a mom and dad team trained as engineers, the bibs and cloths reflect that engineering background. They are well constructed, made of good materials, and feature a reinforced, sturdy design.
But what makes these products unique – besides the construction – is their purpose: these bibs and cloths are for those babies that drool and drool and drool. And spit up and spit up and spit up. Until my niece arrived, I never realized how much of an issue this could be. If you have a baby that really produces a lot of stuff, regular bibs and cloths quickly allow it to soak through onto your clothes, onto the baby’s clothes, and all over the place.
The Wow Baby products come with special liners (which can be rinsed off and reused) that prevent those leaks from happening; the outer matierals are super absorbent, and fun to look at (check out the full line for all the fun colors and fabrics). The fabrics are organic and the soft liner is made of bamboo.
All of that is great – the engineered design, the smart materials – but I am all about the little touches, and this product has two I think are fabulous. First, the burp cloth has a pillowed end for the baby’s head. Second, the bib has an adjustable neckline, since, believe or not!, all babies are not the same size.
The little things are what make parent inventions stand out from the rest.
So if you want to give a great gift set, stop by the Wow Baby store. These are worth it!
