You only need to swaddle your baby a short while and I find that it's kind of a waste. I know there are companies that use regular square blankets with instructions on how to swaddle and I like those best because you can still use the blanket after baby is too big for swaddling. If you have a square receiving blanket, there are great tutorials on YouTube on how to use them appropriately. I’m not a big fan of those odd swaddling blanket. The difference is that Miracle Blanket makes it clear on it package to stop usage around the 14th week - That is the age most babies are able to roll over.
