If you have always hoped for a granddaughter or grandson, or if you are closer to your daughter than your daughter-in-law, those feelings can influence the way you feel about your grandchildren without you realizing it.

Establish this rule early and you won’t have to fight about it later.2. Know when to make exceptions to the one finger rule: banging on the piano with both hands is sort of a part of childhood.

This results in a lot of extra sleep for us, as he is often willing to play himself back to sleep in the middle of the night and play quietly for a while in the mornings.
