The day I gave birth, I was on the phone with my doula, deciding if she should come to our house or meet us at the hospital. She said "you know your body", and I thought, "No I don't, I've never had a baby before..." But then suddenly I knew, "Yes, this baby is coming fast and we need to go to the hospital, and honey, bring some towels in case this baby comes in the car!" My body knew, and my brain eventually knew too! (We made it to the hosptial btw!) Yes!
